JOB TITLE Team Leader

REPORTS TO Area Manager / Line Manager

DEPARTMENT Waste and Recycling

CONTRACT 40 hours a week (shift work available)

SALARY £6.50 – £7.50 per hour DOE

LOCATION Glasgow, Livingston and surrounding areas

New opportunity has become available for a Team Leader to work with our clients based in Glasgow, Livingston and surrounding areas.

The primary purpose of the Recycling Team Leader position is to provide a helpful, courteous and professional service to our Clients.

With the responsibility for managing our staff, you will have relevant experience in waste management or a similar working environment, and have a high regard for customer service, seeking to continually improve an already successful service.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the same or similar position and have a proven knowledge of Waste and Recycling.

Your responsibilities will involve:

- Collection and sorting of recyclable materials into the allocated place off a picking line

- Following Health & Safety policy guidelines

- Inspecting materials for recycling for any contamination

- Ensuring staffs are wearing appropriate personal protective wear

- Managing a large team of staff, ensuring daily work schedules are completed accordingly

- Ensuring day to day running of shift;
