A very busy fit out and joinery Specialist Company is looking for experienced manager to run joinery workshop in North of London. We carry out a variety of projects including fast track fit outs, internal joinery packages on new build residential and commercial schemes but mostly high spec one off luxury residential developments.
Ideal candidate has to have a previous joinery background to understand challenges with fixings, restricted dimensions in some cases, knows different aspects of solid wood, manmade boards, veneers, laminates etc.
We may also look into and train a candidate who has strong background in demanding construction or fit out projects.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Supervise and be responsible for all joinery workshop operations, ensuring the staff are aware of and comply with all systems and procedures
- Manage joinery shop production on a daily basis
- Have a strong background within the field of joinery
- Have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, as well as good planning and organisational skills
- Be able to work with site drawings, working drawings and setting- out drawings
- Be able to prepare notes to drawings, amendments
- Ability to work with management team
- Computer and mobile technologies proficient, cloud based software, mobile devices, ipads, etc
- Deliver the work program on time and within the budget set out
- Report to the Company Director with recommendations and developments
- Develop the workshop team
- Supervise installations, making sure Clients getting White Gloves service
- Have a good understanding of health & safety legislation and be responsible for Workshop health & safety
- Clean driving licence
- Fluent written and spoken Polish and English language

The position will be both workshop and Client’s property/building sites based liaising between project managers, workshop teams and site staff. The position will coordinate and schedule activities related to all the projects running through company, ensuring that staff and resources are utilised effectively and efficiently while maintaining high standards throughout.
