Our brilliant team at an Academy in London need a kitchen porter to assist with daily tasks. There’ll be a whole bunch of cleaning and clearing away to do which makes you an essential part of the team and we’ll depend on you to be proud of your work and make our kitchen and dining areas sparkle.
You’ll make sure that all the pots and cooking utensils are thoroughly cleaned and stored away, the tables and chairs and shiny and sanitised and the kitchen is spotless.
We’ll also need you to ensure that deliveries are stored away correctly using a stock rotation system and that any shortages are reported to your unit manager – we don’t want to run out of ingredients to bake our delicious bread every day!
Experience would be an advantage but enthusiasm and loyalty are important to the role and we’re happy to train and support the right person. You’ll need an enhanced CRB disclosure which we’ll pay for and we’ll also provide you with a uniform.
