Sales / Yard Assistant
Crawley, West Sussex

We are a busy timber merchant based in Crawley and we are looking for an office / yard assistant to join our team.

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, outgoing individual with a flexible approach to their duties, to assist customers and help with all aspects within a busy environment.

The duties would include sales in the shop as well as over the phone, general office duties such as answering the phone and checking emails, assisting customers in the yard (showing them products and helping load their goods).

There is ample scope for the right individual to grow within the company.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome individual with language skills but good English is essential.

Knowledge of the timber / fencing industry and a forklift licence would be an advantage but are not essential.

The right candidate should be numerate, intelligent, have an outgoing personality, cheerful disposition and a good sense of humour! :)

Working hours are 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday and also alternative Saturdays 8am – 12:30pm. However, the job offer is open to part-time applicants and we will be accommodate flexible working hours.
