We are looking to take on a receptionists for day shifts for our small hotel in Notting Hill.
This is a customer facing role and you will need to be friendly, polite and welcoming with a good level of spoken and written English. Prior experience in the hospitality sector is a plus.
Duties will include:
taking reservations (including maintaining extranet details regarding rates and availability for accommodation agencies including Booking.com, Expedia and others
answering the telephone and replying to emails
assisting with guest enquiries, check-in and check-out, cashiering, giving travel and sightseeing information
health and safety and fire marshal duty
housekeeping of up to three rooms per day as needed -we have cleaning staff, however the job requires a few rooms to be made by the reception staff per day
35 hours per week including shifts on weekends (Saturday afternoon through evening and on Sunday morning, 7 hour shifts split between morning and evening
All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK and must have NI number.
Salary will be £7.00 per hour and £7.50 after successful review.
