PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

For our client in Peterborough area, Cambridgeshire we are looking for Production Operative.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• To work as part of a busy and expanding team in the etch department consisting of foil treatment, Etching core and static, node bond testing of Aluminium Honeycomb blocks.
• To work with various chemicals: receiving, moving and storing chemicals safely.
• Gas and electric forklift driving.
• Completion of routine department paperwork and adhering to administrative procedures.
• Ensure that any plant and equipment problems are highlighted to ensure customer requirements are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Be conversant with and adhere to agreed manufacturing, safety, environment and quality procedures, ensuring all documentation is completed (e.g., defect reports) and repairs are undertaken.
• To maintain stock levels.
• Work without supervision and have a flexible approach to work situations.
• In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out other duties as may reasonably be required.
• Any training required for the safe performance of all tasks above will be provided.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Manual handling capabilities
• Good team working and communcation skills
• Forklift driving (Reach and Counterbalance) license
• Keen eye for detail
• Computer skills
