CNC MILLER, ORPINGTON, South-East London/Kent

For one of our Clients in Orpington we are looking for Operator of CNC Milling Machines who would be interested in development of his skills.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Remaining calm under pressure
• Having a good eye for detail
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Good practical skills
• Have a high attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of CNC machines

DUTIES:
• Operation of CNC Machining Centres and Lathes
• Measuring of component parts as they are produced
• Keeping work area clean and tidy

OUR CLIENT OFFERS TRAINING WHICH INCLUDES:

• Reading and understanding engineering drawings.
• Learning how to use precision measuring equipment.
• Understanding what tools are used for what application.
• Understanding the differences between various materials.
• Learn to navigate both Fanuc CNC & Mazak controls.
• Altering of tool offsets on the above controls.
• Gain valuable experience working in a ISO9002 quality environment.
• Setting up of various jobs and understanding/creating setup sheets.
• Keeping a clean and safe working area and understanding all aspects of Health and Safety within the workshop.
