CNC Programmer, Turner with Fanuc / West London

For our client in West London, (Isleworth area) we are looking for skilled CNC Turner with experience in Fanuc controls



Key Responsibilities include:

• Operate and Set CNC machines
• Editing and corrections in programs
• Working to tight tolerances
• Reporting faults to senior machinists
• Inspecting work produced at all machining (auto and manual) operations using measuring equipment to engineering drawings and reporting any quality defects to supervision
• Conducting daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checks on machines, including maintaining good housekeeping standards, support daily actions such as oil top ups, coolant monitoring and reporting any issues promptly to supervision

Requirements:

• Practical, hands on experience in programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes
• Excellent knowledge of Fanuc controls (minimum 3 years experience)
• Manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, and apply correct choice of measuring equipment
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently and with minimal supervision
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at once and to tight deadlines
• Experience on CNC mills would be advantageous
