Ecodomus is a fast growing SME in the construction sector, currently specialising in the sale and installation of high performance timber/timber composite glazing systems, natural insulation systems and associated products. This role is a permanent customer facing role for a experienced fitter to support the growth of our business and is based in our North London office, starting work as soon as possible.
Salary: Circa £23-£27,000 PA basic wage dependent upon experience + annual and quarterly performance related bonuses of up to £2000 per annum based upon the achievement of company profitability and customer satisfaction targets. 28 days annual holidays including statutory ‘bank’ holidays.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
1. INSTALLATION: In co-operation with other ecodomus and subcontracted team members, to travel to each site/other locations as necessary and assist with installation of products, carrying out all necessary and associated building work including but not necessarily limited to tasks associated with carpentry, plastering, decorating and general skilled labour to allow for the successful installation of our products.
2. MAINTENANCE/CUSTOMER SERVICE: To carry out responsive repairs/maintenance for clients
3. MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT: To contribute towards the keeping of an inventory of all regularly used materials and fixings. and Ensure that the storage space is kept neat and tidy at all times with all tools maintained in a ready to use state at all times.
4. SITE SURVEYS: To assist others to carry out project site appraisal work including taking measurements, photos etc as required for costing and project planning purposes.
5. QUALITY/DATA MANAGEMENT: Maintaining records and completing quality control reports
6. MISCELLANEOUS: From time to time, if there is no present on site installation work to assist with covering other office duties/exhibitions/trade shows.

NECESSARY KEY SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
1. NVQ Level 3 Carpentry Qualification coupled with a t least 2 years of window fitting experience. The successful applicant will be confident with the full range of carpentry skills including cutting and mitering architraves window boards, linings etc…
2. Possession of own tools.
3. Clean driving license.
4. MTC Qualified
5. CSCS Card
6. Excellent communications skills including good oral and written English.
7. Excellent numeracy skills to enable correct quantification of materials etc.
8. Ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment.
9. Ability to read and understand construction drawings
10. Courteous, enthusiastic character with positive can do attitude and good timekeeping skills
11. Living within easy commuting distance of our offices and customer base in North London. The successful candidate will, above all, be able to demonstrate a hard working and methodical approach to his/her work, an eye for detail and a customer focused attitude.
