Senior PHP Web Developer

Location: Base Office: – Bridgend, some travel and working on client site will also be required.
Salary: 24k - 28k, Depending on experience.
Working Days: Mon - Fri (37.5 Hrs).

Our Client is a specialist IT Company trading out of Bridgend, South Wales, and growing at a rapid pace. The company delivers a wide range of IT solutions including Consultancy, Support, Procurement, Web & Software Development and Training.

This company specialise in flexible IT computer solutions, providing anything from the support of small networks, through to the development and installation of multi-site operations.

We are currently recruiting for two Senior PHP Developers, to join our award winning company.

You will be situated within their well-established development team of front-end and back-end developers working with the latest technologies - offering you the chance to really expand your skillset and further your career amongst like-minded individuals

We are seeking Candidates who can:
a) Lead the design and development on Web-based solutions.
b) Work through the development lifecycle, from business requirements to deployment.
c) Manage source code control and own change control quality standards.
d) Maintain and communicate a library of reusable components and functions.
e) Provide third line technical support for both internal and external developments.

You should have:
a) At least 5 years commercial OO PHP development experience.
b) Strong working knowledge of PHP, HTML(5), CSS(3), XML & JavaScript.
c) Good JavaScript framework skills.
d) Good knowledge of MySQL and/or SQL Serve.
e) A good knowledge of databases, modelling and design.
f) Experience with version control software (e.g. Git, Subversion, etc.).
g) Experience with API development.
