CNC Programmer, Turner with Fanuc / Havant, Hampshire

For our client in Havant, Hampshire we are looking for skilled CNC Turner with experience in Fanuc controls



Key Responsibilities include:

• Operate, Set and Program CNC machines
• Editing and correcting programs
• Working to tight tolerances
• Reporting faults to senior machinists
• Conducting daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checks on machines, including maintaining good housekeeping standards, support daily actions such as oil top ups, coolant monitoring and reporting any issues promptly to supervision

Requirements:

• Practical, hands on experience in programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes
• Excellent knowledge of Fanuc controls (minimum 2 years of experience)
• Manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, and apply correct choice of measuring equipment
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently and with minimal supervision
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at once and to tight deadlines
• Experience on CNC mills would be advantageous
