Experienced Butchers / Trimmers

Location: Broxburn

EARN from £8.04 (trainee) to £10.12 per 1h (gross)

This is a full time permanent position, available immediately
Assistance with travel/transport and finding accommodation.
 Your duties will Include:
o Safely and efficiently trim beef to specification, using a knife or by operating equipment
o Achieve throughputs, maximize yields, minimize waste, and ensure quality standards are maintained
o Maintain an in-depth knowledge of product specifications
o Remove contamination/defects from product
o When trimming product, aim to maximize yield and minimize waste
o Use judgement to determine the best use of product (so as not to de-value it)
o Maintain a sharp and sterile knife
o Manually handle product and product in trays
 Requirements
o Good English is a must
o Experience of using and maintaining sharp knife
o Experience of working in a meat production environment
