Shift Supervisor Role / Chichester

Gap fmcg work in partnership with food manufacturing clients providing bespoke temporary and

permanent recruitment solutions, we are currently expanding our onsite team based at our client’s

premises in Chichester and have exciting opportunities for shift supervisors.

Job Title: - Shift Supervisor

Contract Type: - Temporary - Full Time

Business Area: - Production/Manufacturing

Skills/Knowledge/Experience & Qualifications

 A good standard of verbal and written communication skills and English skills

 Previous factory experience desirable but not essential

 Good communication skills

 Pervious experience in a similar role

 Happy to undertake training & development

 Applicants will ideally be fluent in one or more of the following languages, Polish, Romanian,

Latvian, Russian, Hungarian, Czech, Portuguese, Bulgarian or Lithuanian.

Responsibilities

 Providing training, support and ensuring health and safety of employees

 Ensure break disciplines, site rules & regulations and health & safety are adhered to at all

times

 Communicating with shift managers and production staff & providing feedback

 Ensuring shift check-ins are completed smoothly and staff are in the factory on time,

including management of time and attendance

 Supporting staff welfare & engagement

 Booking & confirming staff for work, inline with customer requirements

Shift Patterns 12 hour shift patterns. Our shift pattern is called the Panama Shift Pattern and will

require you to work days and nights including weekends.

Salary:-

Basic Pay £8.00 per hour

Overtime £8.60 per hour
